Terms of Service

Effective date: August 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nuclear Exam Prep website at nuclearexamprep.com (the “Service”), operated by Nuclear Education Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared with or transferred to anyone else. You agree to provide accurate information when registering.

2. Plans and Billing

The Service offers the following plans:

  • Basic (free): Access to the question banks, quiz builder, and performance dashboard, with a short preview of each question explanation.
  • Premium Monthly: A recurring subscription billed monthly. Your subscription automatically renews each month and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account menu; after cancellation, your premium access continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
  • Premium 6-Month and Premium 1-Year: One-time payments that grant premium access for a fixed period of 6 or 12 months from the date of purchase. These plans do not renew and no further charges are made. When the period ends, your account returns to the Basic plan.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details. Current prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, and are subject to change; price changes for an active monthly subscription take effect at the next renewal and we will notify you in advance. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout where required.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Premium Monthly: Cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal (available from your account menu). Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not automatically refund partial billing periods. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may email support@nuclearexamprep.com to request a refund, which we may grant at our discretion.
  • Premium 6-Month and Premium 1-Year: You may request a full refund for any reason within 10 days of purchase by emailing support@nuclearexamprep.com. After 10 days, these purchases are non-refundable.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

4. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service and its content for your own individual exam preparation. You may not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or publish questions, explanations, or other Service content;
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content, whether manually or with automated tools;
  • share your account or make your premium access available to others;
  • use the content to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models without our written permission;
  • interfere with or attempt to circumvent the Service’s security or usage limits.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its content — including questions, explanations, software, and design — are owned by Nuclear Education Solutions or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

6. Educational Purpose Disclaimer

Nuclear Exam Prep is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), or any utility or training organization. All content is provided for exam preparation and general educational purposes only. We make no guarantee that using the Service will result in passing the Generic Fundamentals Examination or any other exam. Content on the Service must not be used as guidance for actual nuclear plant operations, procedures, or decisions.

7. AI-Assisted Content

Some explanations and study content on the Service are generated or drafted with the assistance of artificial-intelligence tools and reviewed through our editorial process. Despite our review, AI-assisted content may contain errors or omissions. Always verify important technical information against your official training materials.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuclear Education Solutions and its partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time by emailing support@nuclearexamprep.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, including the license restrictions in Section 4. If we terminate your account without cause while you have an active paid plan, we will refund the unused portion of your plan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and take reasonable steps to notify you, such as an email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
